1) Diversity Scholarship
This is an award that supports diversity at colleges by providing scholarships for students from underrepresented minority groups. 2) Undergraduate Merit Award
The Undergraduate Merit Award is awarded to high school seniors with a 3.2 GPA or higher. The award is renewable if students maintain at least a 3.0 GPA while they are enrolled as an undergraduate at MSU. A $400 scholarship will be given each year, and recipients can continue receiving funds as long as they’re full-time students earning 12 credits per semester, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and are making regular financial aid satisfactory academic progress payments each semester they’re receiving funding.
3) Graduate Merit Award
Up to $10,000 renewable for up to 3 years. 15 percent of applicants will be selected based on GPA and ACT/SAT scores.
4) General Grant
The General Grant is offered by Western Michigan University and comes with a $500-$5,000 stipend. This award can be used for tuition and living expenses, but you must have already been accepted into an undergraduate program.
5) Indigenous Opportunity Scholarship
This scholarship is available for Native American students with a 2.75 GPA and at least a 20 ACT score, or 1220 SAT. It is an award of $7,500 per year for up to four years total.
6) Financial Aid Grant

Students can work up to 20 hours per week while school is in session. The funding amount you receive depends on your financial need.
